and the deadline is very near.. can i cry??? waaa..hay.. sigh.. hay.. im going crazy nowadays.. i dont know.. i really dont know.. the migration should end by Dec 1. anong petsa na??? 26??? ilang araw na lang, my mga issue pa sa environment at sa reporting..

okay. kasi naman ewan ko ah, i looked at the schedule talaga and I did not see my name in any of the task (unless nabulag ako that time and i made a mistake of not seeing my name in the project plan), so alam ko wala akong gagawin but to check lang if everything is working fine when the migration date comes. nagugulat ako ngaun kasi my mga issue and ung manager ako ung tinatanong ng tinatanong sa mga issue.

first thing, di ba my entry na ko here regarding the database import / export. basically, i am not an Oracle DBA. but i did that kind of job because of the DBA here in the office said that we can do it without their help because we have permission. fine! this is the task na nagulat talaga ako na ako pala ung gagawa kasi that same night lang sinabi sa akin na ako iyong gagawa. and napagalitan pa ko na if i knew daw what i really needed to do. if i read the documentation, blah blah.. okay.. i said sorry.. lumampas sa dapat na task na gagawin, pero buti nga i asked di ba. kasi kung hindi patay tayo lalo jan..

natapos iyong task na iyon with the help of my lord god nairaos ko iyon, sa tulong na rin ng team ko. so next stop? my issue sa environment di ako makapagsearch ng processes na running.. bakit??? yan din ang mahiwagang tanong ko.. why oh why.. so now, i opened a ticket to the software vendor and tried already the solution he gave. but still at this point in time is still not working.. i already escalated it to the third level and i wish and hope that they are doing something about it.. wala po akong training dito.. so i really dont know ano ung mga dapat galawin.. but based on the facts that i know, dapat it is running. hay.. ewan ko talaga..

next issue on hand.. the cognos reporting.. again, i dont have a formal training about cognos software.. but then, the issue came in when i checked the entries after i did the import of the data from one server to the other. there are duplicates in the report. which is definitely not there!!! why on earth there are duplicates entry.. and the answer i also dont know.. i am not the developer who created the report. and i am not the developer who created the tables. i dont know their relationships, blah blah..

i double checked the database entries and took some random numbers, and found out that the database dont have a duplicate entries.. so my first guess would be right.. there might be some issue with how the report was made. and why is it showing duplicate entries..

i escalated it again to the person who made the report. he said i need to recreate blah blah.. and i asked for the documentation on how to do that.. he said, he need some time to do it and on friday he will give it to me.. okay, Friday then..

ang dami pang issues.. hay.. sana matapos na ito lord god.. please.. ang hirap po kasi pag di mo naman alam ung mga dapat gawin but then sa iyo pinapagawa and i also dont know if this is part of my job kasi environment/platform issue na cya.. one thing is for sure, i am learning through these things.. and i know i can make it through.. wish me luck..

why cant i sleep

why why why??? i really need to have a good sleep coz i am sleepy during work hours at the office.. waaa.. after submitting my timesheet today and finished around 3 PM, went to bed but then after two hours (based on the clock) but it feels like its only minutes to me, im here again alive and kicking. sigh.. i dont know why my body is alive and have the rush.. all i wanna do is to have a good sleep, a good rest so that tonight i can close all my tickets. bad..

my database issue is also hunting me in my dreams. oh no!!! talking about work in my dreams.. how about that??? its getting back again.. i need to recharge.. recharge.. and recharge..

i wanna sleep.. a good sleep.. sigh.. its my problem this week.. i dont know how to make now a good sleep. :( sad.

missing links

bakit nawawala ung mga links ko sa right side? my milagro na namang naganap.. hay.. so what and how now? ewan ko.. mageedit na naman ba ko? eh wala ako ngaun sa mood mag edit..

iyong idedebug ko ngang map from last week di ko pa madebug debug dahil bumawi ako ng tulog.. ikaw na umuwi ng 2 pm at matulog ng 4 30 or 6 pm tapos my pasok ka ng gabi.. san ka pa..

pero un nga, at least nakatulog din ako ng mahaba haba.. that was 15 hours of straight sleep.. sweet.. ^_^

work unexpected

nitong week na nagdaan, my ginawa na naman akong bago sa work.. nagulat talaga ako.. kasi merong migration na nagaganap.. ung isang hawak ko na sinusupport kong application imomove na kasi dito sa office namin at aalisin na sa US. my schedule naman cya kaya walang issue.. and tinignan ko naman ung sched wala naman ung name ko sa mga task na nandun.. so okay lang.. then nagtesting ng data, they transferred some of the data from SCX to here para macompare nila ung processing kung parehas ba.. that time wala ako kasi nagliliwaliw ako sa pinas.. hehehe.. so my ibang gumawa ng mga task na nasa document..

so last Thursday night nag-ping sa kin ung manager sabi kung ready na daw ba ko.. sabi ko saan.. sabi nya mag iimport daw kami ng database and export na rin from US server to AP server.. so sabi ko wait, am i the one who's going to do that.. and the answer was yes.. so nagulat ako.. sabi nya nasa document daw iyon.. so un na nga ung document na nasend nung naka leave ako.. so i said im gonna read the document first then send an email if i will have any queries..

so basa basa.. cyempre nagulat ako.. tapos binasa ko till the end and i sent an email to the US counterpart ng mga queries ko.. sabi nya, bkit daw my mga ganung tanong.. and dapat daw na gagawin ko is import/export lang ng data no more no less.. okay pasensya.. sinabihan pa ko na alam ko daw ba talaga ung gagawin ko.. hehehe.. pasensya ulit.. kasi nga nagulat din ako.. so confirm confirm.. ganito ba ganyan.. so in the end, we're okay na on what i am going to do..

sinimulan ko ng after business hour sa US, tumwag pa ko ng DBA para gawin ung sa server side ng SCX, then after that nag start na kong magtransfer sa server dito sa AP.. so cge lang. but then, ang laki ng kinakain na bandwidth eh 12 noon na d2 sa office, and friday din.. so apektado bale ung sa server ng AP.. so we decided na next day na lang gawin.. so we went home ng 1 pm but night shift kami..

so friday came, i coordinated na both sa DBA sa US server and dito sa AP server.. and ung mga dapat gawin.. at ang sagot ng DBA sa AP server? ung mga gagawin daw d2 is meron kaming privilege, so we can do it ourselves without their help.. hay nku talaga.. katamaran to the maximum level..

nagugulat ako sa mga nagaganap.. eh wala namang magagawa na di ba.., but before i started all of it i prayed na sana magawa ko ng matino itong work na binigay sa akin kasi wala akong idea na ako ung gagawa and pano gawin ito in the first place.. ang dami kong naging issue nugn first day na unexpected..

but at the end, it went well.. of all the issues reported, isa na lang ang outstanding.. i also dont know what happened. but it should be the same.. need ko pang pag aralan ung docu and check again the database on what happened.. but cyempre proud ako dahil nagawa ko un.. ^_^

can't sleep.. again?

okay, hindi ako makatulog ulit and i dont know why.. i slept around 10 am today but then around 5 i woke up. but if you compute it, that must be a good sleep, seven hours to be exact of straight sleep. that's my problem eversince. when i woke up and needed to stay asleep, that is where my problem comes in. i dont know how to go back to sleep. hays

anyways, while lying on my bed, i thought a lot of things. from the first time i went to the US, the condo, the apartment. it was like all of them are coming back to me. i also took a glimpse of the pictures inside my zune, and most of them are from last year's christmas party of my former company. hay.. i really miss the peepz, the team i mean. who wouldn't be? three months of being together in the US, stuck in the same car almost everyday from Monday to Sunday, went through different states only using paper maps and calculations,lolz.. who could have forget all those times... and i had a great time with them..

i really don't know what struck me. but i really need to go back to sleep but then i can't. so here i am, blogging again. im kinda active again in posting here. nyay.. hehehe.. another thing that i thought is my brother, well my youngest brother, who i am sending to school for his last sem, congrats! ahahah.. well, even my life before. i dont know, why i am thinking all of these right now. i am not sure if "homesick" is striking me back. its new to me cause i never felt like this before.. hayz..

ill try to sleep again but before that, i need to harvest first. lolz

so since yesterday morning, my shift hindi pa ko nagkakaroon ng matinong tulog. ang naging tulog ko lang is ung idlip sa bus papasok ng office and ung pabalik ng bahay from the office.. muntik pa akong lumagpas sa bus stop kasi hindi ako nagising agad, tulog ako when we reached the bus stop which supposedly bababa na kami. buti na lang ginising ako ng 2 kasama ko.. nagulat pa ako tuloy, feeling ko ang tagal huminto ng bus dahil sa akin.. hehehe..

pagkauwi sa house, kumain lang sandali then nagharvest sa farm and then nag ayos na rin ng farm. i know you know what i am talking about here - Farmville.

after that umalis na rin kami and went straight ahead sa ikea to look for cabinet and things na need ko for the house. after naming maikot ang buong Ikea, what did i get on my hands? LACK - need ng drilling para maging patungan sa loob ng room, 2 heavy duty na hanger for pants (5 pants ata nasabit ko dun sa isa), sad to say last 2 piece na cya so kinuha ko na agad ung dalawa. then ung mga screws and scented candle. that all ive got sa Ikea. tomorrow maggagala ako sa mall para tumingin pa rin, sana makakita na ako agad.. hehehe

this night naman pagkauwi ng house, ang ginawa ko is naglinis ako ng buong bahay - except ung mga rooms ng kasama ko. hehehe.. mula sa laundry area hanggang sa veranda sinabon ko ung floor. so sa linis kasama na rin ung room ko. eto ung part na ramdam kong pagod na ko. gusto ko na ngang matulog eh, actually binukas ko na ung aircon sa room and im blogging here sa dining area - para pagpasok ko mamaya malamig na iyong room and tulog na agad ako.. hehehe

ano bang meron? ah, ayun pala. dumaan kami kanina sa secret recipe before umuwi from Ikea, my mall kasi sa tapat nun, i bought 6 slices of different cakes pero mostly cheesecake. gusto ko kasing tikman. sa CBTL kasi masarap ung chicago cheesecake nila(?) - firm talaga.

so pano? dinner muna kami. adobo ata ulam namin., hehehe. oh di ba, kahit wala sa pinas, mga ulam namin dito pinas pa rin.. ^_^

watched this morning yesterday morning together with the team sa gardens. actually maaga pa kami nun, since we are working night shift, we left the office around 9 am and the cinema opens ng 12. so what happened is we took our breakfast/dinner before kami nanood.

the movie lasted for more than two hours. medyo mahaba. but its worth it. iyong ibabayad mo sa sinehan, sulit. lalabas ka ng pag uusapan nyo ung movie. hahaha.. lalo na ung part na:

scene: nagkakagulo na inside the car kasi babagsak ung plane - maingay sa loob.

lolz... at umandar ang makina.. ang kulit di ba?

mamamatay ka na at nagkakagulo dahil ayaw umandar ng sasakyan biglang ganun lang pala un. voice recognition.. ahahha..

anyways, maganda ung movie all in all. maybe a rate of 8.5 out of 10 would be okay. and the big revelation sa movie na ito? CHINA.. wag nyong smallin ung mga gawang China. dahil sa movie na ito sila ang gumawa ng mga ship na nagligtas sa mga tao.. matibay naman ung gawa nilang ship.. kahit nabagsakan na ng mga bato, tinamaan ng Air Force 1, at sumadsad ung ilalim na part sa ilalim ng tubig, buhay pa rin.. at nakapagligtas ng sangkatauhan.. wahhehehe

lalabas ka dito ng nakangiti at pag uusapan pa rin ung nangyari sa movie.. hehehe

on other note:

nabili ko na ung Nike na bag and gamit ko cya ngaung gabi sa office.. lolz

since katabi lang ng mall ung Nike shop, pinuntahan ko na at binili ko na agad. so far so good.. picturan ko one time tapos post ko.. hehehe

my former officemates and my friendly friends.. well, actually i saw them na when i visited the office the first day ko pa lang sa pinas. my halloween party pa nga sa office but then my appointment ako with other people.

konting harutan, landian at mga kwentuhan tungkol sa buhay buhay ng bawat isa..

grabe.. nakakamiss iyong ganun.. dati rati almost everyday that we see each other. isang ping lang sa MOC or tatayo ka lang ng cube mo at sisigaw ng pangalan ni ganito, magkakausap na kayo and lahat ng team nakikinig din.. lolz

they are the people and the reason why i stayed longer in GXS, less than 3 years din ako sa first company ko. sila ung mga taong tumulong at naging pamilya ko sa loob ng panahon na yan. at sila din ung tumulong sa kin nung panahon na sobrang down sa buhay ko, though ang isang rason din naman dun ay mga taga loob..

oh well, past is past, mas marami akong magandang memories sa loob kesa sa bad.. and sila nga iyong mga good memories..

anyways, marami pa ring kwento over lunch.. uu nga pala, had lunch sa North Park near RCBC.. hayz.. kakamiss talga kayo.. tsktsk

Racks / Icebergz

first people na ka appointment ko when i went back sa Pinas last week of October.

Dinner with Ms Thina kasama si Jo.

well, what i did is i went to my former office sa RCBC and sinundo si ms thina then sabay na kaming pumunta ng MOA para sunduin naman si ate. we had dinner sa Racks - sobra busog ko dun ah.. ahahah..

ang dami nating nakain.. nakapag take out pa tuloy na mga di natin naubos..

daming kwento.. nakakamiss din iyong ganung buhay sa pinas..

na everytime na libre puede kayong magkita kita.

its one of the things that i miss in Manila.

after our dinner sa Racks, we went ahead sa Icebergs for dessert.

i had halo halo kasi cyempre di naman ako madalas makakain nun dito.

and ang dami pa ring kwento.. ahahha.. nakakamiss ang mga laugh trip.

grabe.. i really miss this set up.

dahil sa ako ay walang magawa dito sa office dahil na rin sa wala ng ticket at natapos ko na ang aking trabaho sa mas maagang oras, eto ako ngayon - hilo sa antok.. gising na ko 1:30 pa lang ng hapon and its almost 5 am in my ip phone. sana 8 na para makauwi na ko.. hahaha..gusto ko ng makabawi ng tulog eh.. one more thing pa pala, iniisip ko kung pupunta ako ng mall tomorrow and if im gonna buy the Nike Bag that i want.. what do you think?

and another thing that i did because of boredom, i read my previous entries on this blog. ang daming typo error pati grammar. ahahah.. hindi kasi ako nagproproof read ng mga entries ko dito. kung ano lang maisip ko iyon na iyon. minsan mali talaga..

naka past tense ung sentence dapat pero meron akong present tense na ginagamit. parang kahapon tapos ngaun.. oh di ba? ano pa ba? basta ang dami kong nabasang mga mali. kung puede nga lang ire-edit lahat ng iyon. hehehe

sa ngayon, meron palang on going renovation dito sa office. di ko alam ano at kung bakit ang dahilan ng biglang pagbabago. siguro dahil na rin sa laki ng populasyon ng kompanyang kinabibilangan ko, need na nilang magdagdag ng mga cube.. hehehe

the first Pinas trip..

i made my first ever balikbayan trip last week of October. anong feeling ng isang OFW na first time uuwi ng pinas? excited.. para mameet na rin ung mga damit imeet. gawin iyong mga dati mo ng ginagawa. mga ganung bagay. at dahil sa hindi ako excited at sa praktikal na rin, dinala ko na ung maleta ko gabi pa lang ng tuesday para diretso na ko sa airport. kasi naman baka maubos oras ko kung sa house pa ko manggagaling. anyways, i left the office around 7 am, so 7:30 nasa airport na ata ako and my flight is around 10 am sa Malaysia Airlines.

hindi ako maaga pero sakto lang ung pila para sa check in luggage. meron kasi silang allowed na 20 kilos every passenger pag going back to Manila even pabalik ng KL. so after ko mag check in, next stop is immigration. actually wala naman akong naging hassle sa pagpasok sa airport nila dito.

the immigration officer asked me pa nga if i wanted stamp sa passport ko kasi puedeng wala since i do have the card here. pero sabi ko "yes please". para alam pa ring lumabas ako at dumating ng malaysia.

mahigit one hour before my flight nasa boarding gate na ko. and since hindi pa ko nagbreakfast, naghanap ako ng coffee shop na malapit and napadpad ako sa coffee bean sa kabilang wing ng airport. ahaha.. talagang nilakad ko ung part na iyon till makakita ako ng makakainan.

sakto naman ung oras ng flight. at ung hinihintay ko na pag angat ng eroplano sa lupa is hindi naganap. dahil? nakatulog ako sa sobrang antok at pagod. nagising ako nakikita ko na lang ung lupa at mga building sa bintana. but okay lang naman. and i have a good seat na rin. 2 rows behind the business class. ^_^

so nung naka idlip ako ginising ako ng FA in a nice way dahil magseserve ng food. ano daw gusto ko. ang kinain ko ata is chicken curry na my rice. and i think naubos ko cya dahil gutom na naman ang bata.. ahahha..

lumapag iyong plane sa NAIA around 2 PM. at 2:30 PM nasa labas na ko ng NAIA papuntang makati. at nandun din ako naipit sa traffic sa my airport road. and it only means - nasa Pinas na nga ako..

i have a new layout again.. ahaha.. hindi na naman ako nakontento sa aking dating lay out at naggalugad na naman ako sa net ng mga bago or should i say ng gusto ko na theme para sa blog ko. anyways, i hope this one would make it a month or for two months.. hehehe

nag edit nga rin pala ako ng mga fonts. though hindi ganun ka perfect ung layout nya - my gusto pa sana akong gawin pero nagugulo ung mga images. hehehe..

so for now i hope this could make me happy. ^_^

Expense Report: Completed!

as what the title of this post implies, im already done with the expense report that i need to finish. maybe you are wondering ano itong report na ito right? well, its the report i made regarding my last trip sa pinas.. kasi i need to know how much money i spent there. and i need to categorize din iyong how much ung naspent ko for myself and for other people. and now im good. natapos ko na rin cya and im aware now of the expenses that i made sa pinas.

i also paid my bills sa cc company since half of the expenses are made through my card. and now? balik sa dating gawi.. mag ipon ulit para sa next na uwi ng pinas, marami ulit akong gala.. ahahaha

its 11:30 pm na but still im still awake since last night before my shift. so it only means 24 hours na kong gising.. well, kakapagod na cya technically kasi need ko rin naman na matulog and to take a rest. but kaninang morning kasi i need to wash na ung mga clothes ko from Pinas - iyong dinala ko dito from my last trip. so all in all it was 7 sets of laundry na sinalang ko sa washing machine and up to now im not yet done. kaya nakakapagod talaga. in a while maybe ill be taking a nap na rin.. or sleep na rin.. hehehe

tomorrow, im gonna start posting about my pinas trip. ;)
